How to keep your bouquet fresh
The flowers travel in a container specially designed by Aquarelle with water to keep them fresh and hydrated during transport.
To enjoy your bouquet for as long as possible, follow these simple care tips:
- Trim approximately 1–2 cm from the stems at an angle before placing the bouquet in a vase.
- Carefully remove any leaves from the lower part of the stems to prevent them from being submerged in water.
- Use a clean vase and fill it with fresh water. Add the sachet of flower food provided.
- Keep your bouquet in a cool place, away from heat sources, draughts and direct sunlight.
- Gerberas particularly appreciate clean water: avoid overfilling the vase and change the water regularly.
- Remove any flowers that begin to wilt to help the rest of the bouquet stay fresh for longer.
- Change the water and trim the stems slightly every two days.
